Just Say No
Don't say maybe when what you really want to do is say no. Don't say I'll think about it. Don't say I'll try. If you can't do it, if you don't want to do it, just say no. No is a complete sentence. You don't owe anyone anything and you certainly don't owe them an explanation.
Description
This is about setting clear boundaries instead of being wishy-washy. When someone asks you to do something you don't want to do, don't say "maybe" or "I'll think about it" just to avoid conflict. You're not helping anyone by being unclear - you're just creating confusion and false hope. A simple "no" is honest and respectful. You don't need to justify your decisions or feel guilty about protecting your time and energy.
